Each service is a soul-celebration with uplifting positive music, a short meditation, and an inspirational message delivered by our minister or guest speaker. The service generally lasts a little over an hour and folks leave feeling inspired and empowered. You’ll be ready to begin your week with an open heart and positive attitude.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

A greeter will meet you at the door to welcome you and ask if you’d like a name tag so we can say hello more easily. If you’ve arrived a little late, during our meditation, you’ll be asked to wait quietly in the foyer until the meditation is finished and the doors are opened. There is a speaker in the foyer so that you don't miss anything.

Our Youth and Family ministry embraces children of all ages. Our YFM rooms are in the upstairs part of the building. Please be sure to sign your child in using the clipboard on the door. Near the end of service, the children will be brought downstairs by the Youth Ed teacher to give a brief announcement about what they did and what they learned and to receive special blessing by the minister and congretation.

DURING THE SERVICE

You can easily follow along and participate during the service by referring to the Order of Service in the seatback pocket. It includes song lyrics and group affirmations. We understand that sometimes visitors just want to come and observe. Therefore, we will not ask you to stand up and tell us your name. We are here to support you as much, or as little, as you would like.

AFTER THE SERVICE SOCIAL

Please join us for our Sacred Cafe after-service social hour where we will have refreshments and fellowship. Here you’ll have a chance to meet others, ask questions and get to know us a little better. We look forward to getting to know you.

3 MINUTE MIRACLES

On Sunday after every Sacred Celebration Service, we offer what we call our "3 Minute Miracle." If you have something going on in your life that you would like help seeing from a higher perspective...a more Divine perspective...and infusing that situation with healing Divine Light, then you have the opportunity to sit with a trained Prayer Partner to do just that. You will find that Prayer Partner in our Ministry Office (Room 102). There may be a short line. If so, the wait will not be long...3 minutes!  If you are joining us online you may email prayer@unitychapelhill.org after the service and our Prayer Partner will return your call within the hour. Be sure to leave your phone number in the email. This is a free service. 

DEEPER DIVE

Starting at 12:30 after the Sunday Celebration Service, we have our Deeper Dive meetup in Room 103 (aka the Chapel) - located at the end of the hall on the right) for about 30 minutes. The focus of this gathering is to provide a space and time to talk about ideas and thoughts sparked by the Sunday talk.  This is not a critique. Rather, it's a special time to share personal take-a-ways, insights, learnings and visions together. An after service dialogue is an example of experiential education applied in a spirit-led setting. Some folks need and appreciate a casual time to share the "personal essence" of the UCP Service experience. So, grab your coffee and snack and bring it to the gathering. We will have a sign up sheet where you can place your name and email to receive our monthly eNews and weekly announcements, if you like. We look forward to seeing you!
